The principals of Bradbury Legal are Brendan Hoffman and Scott Mort.

Having previously practised in large national law firms, Brendan and Scott established Bradbury Legal as they believe the best way to service the property, development and construction industries is to provide clients with immediate access to specialist legal advice without unnecessary overheads.

Jessica has come to Bradbury Legal after working as an un-licensed conveyancer and administrative assistant for two years.
Jess has a degree in business management and is an experienced manager, having worked in hospitality for eight years with multiple management roles. Her studies have focused on her interests in customer service, office management, and client development.

Fiona Clark

Fiona Clark

Special Counsel

Fiona has over 25 years’ experience in construction litigation. She has worked as special counsel at two of Australia’s national firms and at a large international firm focussing on all aspects of dispute resolution for some of the largest construction companies in Australia. She was also a barrister for twelve years specialising in both commercial and residential construction disputes and has appeared in the High Court, Court of Appeal, Supreme and District Courts for both principals and contractors in a broad range of matters.

Ashleigh Vumbaca

Ashleigh has advised principals, contractors and subcontractors on their contractual and statutory rights across Australia. Ashleigh has developed significant experience providing contract administration and pre-dispute assistance to clients, as well as advising and representing clients strategically, procedurally and on the merits in all forms of dispute resolution including adjudication, mediation, expert determination, litigation, arbitration and dispute boards. Ashleigh is currently completing her Masters of Law at the University of New South Wales.

Stefanie Dunnicliff

Stefanie has worked exclusively in the building and construction area for over 12 years. In 2015, Stef became an accredited specialist in commercial litigation with a sub speciality in building and construction law through the Law Society Specialist Accreditation program.
Stef’s experience includes both front and back end work including amending and negotiating residential and commercial contracts for builder’s, sub-contractors, developers and home owners as well as acting for clients when disputes arise and sought resolution through mediation and litigation. In particular, Stef enjoys resolving disputes to achieve the best commercial outcomes for her clients.

Vinesh Singh

Vinesh is a lawyer with more than 5 years of experience in property and construction law. He gives straight forward advice which considers not only the merits from a legal perspective, but also the commercial realities of the matter.
Vinesh is experienced in advising clients on property and construction disputes in a variety of jurisdictions, including the Federal Court and the Supreme Court of New South Wales. Vinesh also has a strong understanding of Security of Payment Legislation.

Catherine Rumsey

Catherine graduated from the University of Notre Dame Australia in 2018 with a combined Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in February 2019.
Prior to joining Bradbury Legal, Catherine gained legal and commercial experience working in-house for an operations, maintenance and construction services organisation. She has a particular interest in construction law, due to the dynamic and interesting nature of the projects.

Francis started working at Bradbury Legal in 2018 after working at University of Sydney Law School.
His experience includes providing advice on contractual documents, drafting claims to other parties, and preparing pleadings and evidence for litigation.

Fiona Robinson

Fiona was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in August 2018 and joined Bradbury Legal as a Lawyer in 2019.
Preceding her time at Bradbury Legal, she gained litigation experience in a prominent mid-tier insurance firm, appearing in court and advising clients on matters in several jurisdictions across Australia.
She enjoys the complex and technical nature of construction law, predominantly working on back-end litigation and dispute matters with a focus on resolving the issues and delivering results for our clients.

Lachlan Muir

Lachlan Muir

Law Graduate

Lachlan has come Bradbury Legal after working at a top tier commercial law firm, various smaller firms and a community legal centre.
His experience extends to analysing, drafting, negotiation and administering a wide range of contracts, combining an in depth understanding of the law with commercial realities faced by clients.
Lachlan has acted for a variety of clients including financiers in construction matters, contractors, subcontractors as well as other services providers and consultants.
