Brendan is a lawyer with more than 20 years of experience and a particular focus on the property and construction industries. He gives strategic and pragmatic advice to achieve the most commercial outcomes for his clients.

Brendan is experienced in the negotiation and drafting of construction contracts and related documents for the development and use of property, including joint venture or development agreements, consultancy contracts and leases. He also provides advice on associated matters such as corporate issues, financing, insurance and insolvency.

Brendan understands the practicalities of completing a development project and is regularly asked by clients to advise and assist in the day-to-day administration of construction contracts. When disputes arise Brendan represents clients in a variety of jurisdictions, including the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the Federal Court of Australia. Brendan also advises clients on all forms of alternative dispute resolution, such as arbitrations, expert determinations and mediations.

Brendan is a member of the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators Australia and NSW practice committee of the Australian Institute of Architects.
