Ashleigh Vumbaca
Ashleigh has advised principals, contractors and subcontractors on their contractual and statutory rights across Australia. Ashleigh has developed significant experience providing contract administration and pre-dispute assistance to clients, as well as advising and representing clients strategically, procedurally and on the merits in all forms of dispute resolution including adjudication, mediation, expert determination, litigation, arbitration and dispute boards. Ashleigh has recently completed her Master of Laws (with Excellence) at the University of New South Wales.

Stefanie Dunnicliff
Stefanie has worked exclusively in the building and construction area for over 12 years. In 2015, Stef became an accredited specialist in commercial litigation with a sub speciality in building and construction law through the Law Society Specialist Accreditation program.
Stef’s experience includes both front and back end work including amending and negotiating residential and commercial contracts for builder’s, sub-contractors, developers and home owners as well as acting for clients when disputes arise and sought resolution through mediation and litigation. In particular, Stef enjoys resolving disputes to achieve the best commercial outcomes for her clients.

Catherine Rumsey
Catherine graduated from the University of Notre Dame Australia in 2018 with a combined Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in February 2019.
Prior to joining Bradbury Legal, Catherine gained legal and commercial experience working in-house for an operations, maintenance and construction services organisation. She has a particular interest in construction law, due to the dynamic and interesting nature of the projects.

Fiona Robinson
Fiona was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in August 2018 and joined Bradbury Legal as a Lawyer in 2019.
Preceding her time at Bradbury Legal, she gained litigation experience in a prominent mid-tier insurance firm, appearing in court and advising clients on matters in several jurisdictions across Australia.
She enjoys the complex and technical nature of construction law, predominantly working on back-end litigation and dispute matters with a focus on resolving the issues and delivering results for our clients.

Saarah Khalessi
Saarah graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business Administration and was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in June 2018.
Prior to joining Bradbury Legal in July 2022, Saarah gained experience at a leading national law firm. Saarah primarily practices in front end construction and has experience advising and negotiating on a wide range of construction procurement documentation for significant construction projects across all Australian jurisdictions.
Saarah also has experience working on back end litigious matters including Court proceedings and adjudications under the Security of Payment Act. Saarah is committed to assisting our clients to understand the complex nature of construction law so as to achieve a commercial outcome.

Loris Cohen
Loris graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Juris Doctor and the University of Toronto with Honours Bachelor of Arts, and was admitted to practice in Victoria in early 2021.
Prior to joining Bradbury Legal in August 2022, Loris worked at a boutique law firm in Melbourne offering specialist legal advice to practitioners within the construction space, including developers, builders, and engineers. He also frequently acted for homeowners and owners’ corporations. He has broad experience spanning across the lifecycle of construction projects; from front-end contract drafting and advice, to back-end mediation and litigation.
Loris particularly enjoys the tangible nature of construction law, and aspires to provide sound, commercial, and tailored legal advice to bring projects to completion and disputes to a close.

Brent Scicluna
Brent joined Bradbury Legal as a lawyer in 2022.
Brent graduated from the University of Sydney with degrees in both commerce and law. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW in August 2022
Prior to joining Bradbury Legal, Brent gained in-house experience working in a small construction company alongside the tendering and construction teams on a variety of residential and commercial projects for both private and government clients. Brent enjoys working on a range of front-end and back-end matters to understand projects throughout their lifecycle. He enjoys working alongside clients to ensure that solutions are understandable while meeting commercial objectives.

Sophie Court
Sophie joined Bradbury Legal as a lawyer in 2022, having completed her Juris Doctor degree in 2021. Sophie has come to Bradbury Legal after a decade-long career in the construction industry, having worked previously for a vertical transportation provider. Sophie has a Bachelor of Engineering (mechatronics) from the University of Sydney.

Sarah Abboud
Sarah joined Bradbury Legal as a Paralegal in June 2022.
Sarah is currently studying a Bachelor of Laws at The University of Technology Sydney and is completing the third year of her degree.
Prior to commencing her employment with Bradbury Legal, Sarah gained legal experience working with personal injury and workers compensation matters in a boutique law firm.

Mackenzie Haynes
Mackenzie joined Bradbury Legal as a Paralegal in March 2023.
